Theatre
Theatre is a central part of SIC12’s artistic research. Through original productions, SIC12 explores the dialogue between contemporary theatre, Art Brut, music and visual arts. Many projects draw inspiration from the lives, writings and works of self-taught artists and visionary creators, opening new perspectives on memory, identity and imagination

A new world
The new creation by Cie SIC12 is inspired by the story of Francesco Toris, an Art Brut artist interned at the psychiatric hospital of Collegno, where he created a visionary construction from bones recovered from the hospital kitchen, which he called New World.
Drawing on this true story, the performance creates a poetic, sensory and musical narrative around the relationship between art, otherness and care, exploring the value of human connection and the possibility of imagining another world..
